5.7 Assembling the polarizer and analyzer
Manual incident light polarizer
• Remove the plug cap on the right side of the stand (be-
hind the incident light turret disk (Fig. 25.1)).
• Insert the polarizer into the receptacle until it latches in
place (Fig. 25.1).
Manual incident light analyzer
• Remove the plug cap on the right side of the stand (below
the incident light turret disk (Fig. 25.2)).
• Insert the analyzer into the receptacle until it latches in
place (Fig. 25.2).
