Retort status

The retort is filled with the reagent group color that the reagent in the retort belongs to.
The retort has the following status:
• Empty ( → "Fig. 60- 1 ") - The retort is empty and clean.
• Partially filled ( → "Fig. 60- 2 ") - The retort is sucking/draining a reagent.
• Full ( → "Fig. 60- 3 ") - The retort is full.
• "U" form filled ( → "Fig. 60- 4 ") - The retort is empty, but contaminated by a previous reagent.
• Unsealed (

A filling animation is displayed when the retort is filling/draining reagents. The retort filling grows from
empty to full during sucking; the retort filling decreases from full to empty during draining.
Caution
Do not open the retort when the program is running. It may damage the specimens.

The paraffin baths are filled with paraffin group color, and named with Paraffin (1), Paraffin (2) and
Paraffin (3).
The paraffin baths have the following status:
• Empty ( → "Fig. 61- 1 ") - The paraffin bath is empty.
• Partially filled (
→
"Fig. 61- 2 ") - The retort is sucking/draining the paraffin.
• Full ( → "Fig. 61- 3 ") - The paraffin bath is full.
• Blinking ( → "Fig. 61- 4 ") - The paraffin is expired, when the RMS is on.
• Not displayed - The paraffin bath is not used in the selected program.
A filling animation is displayed when the retort is sucking/draining paraffin. Paraffin bath filling
decreases from full to empty, when the retort is sucking the paraffin; paraffin bath filling grows from
empty to full, when the retort is draining the paraffin back.
