1. Remove the straps (

"Fig. 3- 1 ") , then the cover (
→
"Fig. 3- 2 ") .
2. Unfasten 3 plastic locks (
→
"Fig. 3- 3 ") on the front side and remove the carton wall (
→
"Fig.
3- 4 ") .
3. Remove the compression strap ( → "Fig. 3- 5 ") .
4. Remove the molded foam ( → "Fig. 3- 6 ") on the top of the instrument.
5. Remove the top plastic dust cover ( → "Fig. 3- 7 ") from the instrument, and fold carefully the
lower plastic dust cover ( → "Fig. 4- 8 ") under the pallet ( → "Fig. 4- 9 ") .
6. Unfasten 4 screws (
→
"Fig. 4- 10 ") and remove the wooden transport anchor (
→
"Fig. 4- 11 ") .
7. Pull out the two rails (
→
"Fig. 4- 12 ") from beneath the instrument by pulling them towards you.
8. Hook these rails into the groove on the left and right ( → "Fig. 4- 13 ") of the pallet so that they are
flush with the wooden board that holds the instrument.

9. Push the instrument from the pallet.
Caution
The instrument casters move very easily. The empty weight of the HistoCore PEARL is 140 kg!
Therefore, it is mandatory to have at least TWO persons hold the instrument when it is rolled
off the pallet via the ramp.
» When moving the instrument down from the pallet, one person should support it by the outer top
corners using both hands; the other person holds the rear of the instrument securely by both
handles
