Editing the stations

Make sure that no program is running.

Only Supervisor and Service user level can edit the stations.
1. Press Stations ( → "Fig. 48- 1 ") .
2. Select a station in the table ( → "Fig. 48- 2 ") .
3. Press Edit (
→
"Fig. 48- 3 ") , and the reagent list pops up.
4. Select a reagent (
→
"Fig. 48- 4 ") . To remove the reagent from a station, select None .
5. Press
OK
( → "Fig. 48- 5 ") .
5.3.4 RMS
The HistoCore PEARL has a Reagent Management System (RMS) that ensures optimized reagent
consumption and the best possible tissue processing results. The Reagent Management System is
controlled via warning threshold values that display the reagent replacement. For each reagent, a value
of this type can be defined depending on the use.
RMS mode
The RMS is divided into 2 groups, Processing Reagents and Cleaning Reagents .
For Processing Reagents , the following 4 modes are available.
•
Off
- The RMS mode of the processing reagents turns off.
•
Cassettes
- Number of processed cassettes
• Cycles - Number of cycles (1 processed program = 1 cycle)
• Days - Days until changing the reagent
For Cleaning Reagents , the following 3 modes are available.
• Off - The RMS mode of the cleaning reagents turns off.
