NOTE: If bed is to be set up without a headboard, basic

installation is now complete. If headboard is to be

installed, proceed to Headboard Bracket Installation.

b. Place mattress retainer ends into grommeted holes in top surface of

adjustable bed base (FIGURES 5 and 6). Press down until horizontal

retainer section is flush against bed base.
