Limiter
Aseparate limiter is available for all MIC sources and some of the other sources.
To check if the limiter is supported, press the source's
ACCESS
key and then look at DisplayDock - if the
Limiter graphs (and parameters) appear, then the DSP is available. Alternatively, look at the Central Module:
LIM
key lit = limiter available.
Ø
To access the limiter parameters, press an
ACCESS
key followed by
LIM
on the Central Module.
Surface Controls (Limiter)
DisplayDock
The following parameters are available for the Limiter:
·
LIM
- on/off for the limiter: red = on.
·
THRS
- threshold from -93dB to +27dB.
·
RLS -
release time from 10ms to 5000ms.
The Limiter graph on DisplayDock includes a green ball which represents the output level of the Limiter.
This changes dynamically as the signal level varies, and so is extremely helpful when adjusting parameters.
8.8.7
Delay
Delay is not supported by any source in the crystal standard configuration. Therefore, the
DLY
key on the
Central Module has no function.
