17. Run the pump until there are no more air bubbles visible in all the hoses..
(
Note:
Normally this will take 10 to 15 minutes.)
18. Turn “Off” the Mains Power Switch and
wait for 5 minutes
.
19. Top off the Distilled Water Bottle to the
maximum level line.
20. Replace the left side panel and install the screws. (
Note:
Make sure the
ground wire is connected.)
21. The system is ready to weld.
D. Removing the Distilled Water from the Machine for Storage or
Transport
1.
Make sure the laser is “Off”, turn the Key-switch to “O”/Off, turn Mains
Power switch to "O”/Off.
2.
Make sure the AC power is “Off”- shut off the Mains Circuit Breaker (on
the rear of the machine); pull out the mains plug or shut off the wall
disconnect switch.
3.
The system should be “Off” for at least five minutes before servicing.
4. Remove the two screws securing left side panel. Lift up the panel and
disconnect the ground wire. (
Note:
Be careful not to break the panel ground
wire.)
5. Make sure the by-pass pinch valve is closed tightly.

6. Remove the by-pass hose from the bottle.
(Figure 1)

Attention:
Make sure
you have paper towels available.)
7. Use a siphoning device, hand pump or squeeze pump to remove the water
from the bottle through the by-pass hose hole.

8. Make up two air hose assemblies (~2 ft in length) for use with a manual
air
pump or clean shop air (no water or oil & ≤30 psi): One air hose assembly
with a male garden hose fitting and a second
air
hose assembly with a female
garden hose fitting. Both
air
hose assemblies will have fittings on the other
end compatible with the air supply.
9. Slowly disconnect the
front cooling hose female fitting / (2)
from the pump
chamber as shown in
Figure 5.

Attention:
Place a paper towel below fitting
before loosening to collect any water.)
