The work pieces within the illuminated welding chamber/area can be
observed via an observation window

to facilitate a coarse positioning of
the work pieces. The observation window is a special laser protective
window that absorbs laser radiation as well as the ultraviolet component of
the plasma light.

The Stereo Microscope
