Selecting a Measurement Setup

The simplest way to setup the instrument is to select the ID
which most closely meets the requirements of the measure-
ment to be made and then modify it to meet your specific
needs. The instrument is delivered with a number of perma-
nent setups. The standard ID delivered with the instrument is
ISM. The optional IDs available are: SSA, LOG, RTA, FFT,
AUD, and TAL. If the options for the SSA, LOG, RTA, FFT,
AUD, or TAL have not been purchased, they can be evalu-
ated in a demo mode.
