3-4 MAIN FRAME AND HITCH
3-4.1 Place main frame on suitable stands at
least 30" (76 cm) high.
3-4.2 Determine center of main frame and insert
hitch tube under frame (See Figure 3-2).
3-4.3 Attach front of hitch tube to frame with
mounting plates and four 3/4" x 8-1/2" cap
screws, lock washers, and nuts.
3-4.4 Attach rear of tube to lift cylinder anchor
with mounting plate and four 3/4" x 14" cap
screws, lock washers and nuts.
3-4.5 Attach jack to hitch and extend to floor
(See Figure 3-3) .
3-4.6 Install right and left diagonal hitch braces
to frame with four 3/4" x 5-5/8" U-bolts, lock
washers and nuts (See Figure 3-4) .
3-4.7 Install attaching plate) and cylinder anchor
to hitch and diagonal braces with eight 5/8" x
8" cap screws, lock washers, nuts (See Fig-
ure 3-4).
3-4.8 Install plastic grommet around holes (See
Figure 3-3) for hydraulic hoses.
