Installing Your LaCie Hard Drive
3.2.c. Connecting the FireWire 800 Cable
Connect the power supply cable (page 14) and turn
on the LaCie Big Disk by flipping the
power switch to ON or AUTO (drive powers on/hi-
bernates automatically).
Connect the FireWire 800 cable into the FireWire
800 port on the back of the LaCie Big Disk
(A).
Attach the other end of the interface cable to an
available FireWire 800 port on your computer (B).
