1-6 Requirements on PWB Replacement

1-6-1 Remarks on DP driver PWB replacement

When replacing the DP driver PWB, remove the EEPROM (U2) from the DP driver PWB that has been removed and then
reattach it to the new DP driver PWB.

Figure 1-6-1 DP driver PWB

When the DP driver PWB is replaced with a new one, carry out the following procedure.

1. Clean the CIS roller and contact glass (CIS).
2. Perform maintenance mode U091 (setting the white line correction) (see page 1-3-10 , 33).
3. Make a test copy of a gray document.

If problems such as white lines appear on the test copy, repeat the procedure from steps 1 and 2 onwards
until the white lines no longer appear.

4. Perform maintenance mode U411 (Adjusting the scanner automatically) (see page 1-3-15, 38).
