Controller board
K. CONTROLLER BOARD REPLACEMENT:

1. Disconnect power to the 893 closer.
2. Remove the back cover of the closer.
3. Locate the Controller board (Figure 6.21).
4. Detailed instructions (BU-1931 Calibrate The
Controller Board) are provided with the replace-
ment board. Follow the instructions for replace-
ment of the board.
L. CALIBRATE SCREEN:

If the screen button pressure sensitive area becomes
misaligned with the border of the button, the screen
may need to be calibrated with the following proce-
dures.
1. On the Main Control screen press the “Setup”
button.
2. Enter the password at the Password Required
screen and press the “OK” button.
3. Press the “Display” button at the Setup screen.
4. Press the “Calibrate” button at the Display
Parameters screen.
