5. Install the new sensor.
6. Adjust the sensor position so there is a 0.032”
(0.8mm) gap between the sensor tip and the
end of the pick pivot pin as the pin is moved
toward the sensor face. Tighten the sensor in
place in the mounting bracket.
7. Connect the electrical cable to the sensor.
8. The sensor mounting bracket should be flush to
1/16” (1.6mm) below the bottom of the upper
stepper mount. The vertical position of the pick
sensor affects the closure height in relation to
the closing belts. The proper position will place
the closure opening at the top of the outside
drive belt (Figure 6.16).
9. Install the shield and covers.
10. Cycle the closer to verify the lok is in the proper
location.
