3.5 Air outlet grids
To prevent damages to the building through dampness and
mould, the device is equipped with adjustable air outlet grids. By
turning the grids, the dry air can be directed to areas where no air
movement would otherwise take place. Avoid blowing the air in
the direction of the water surface, since this increases evapora-
tion unnecessarily.
4 Transport
ATTENTION!
When transporting the device, ensure that it is not tilted more than 45° (in
any direction).
Use a wooden pallet for transporting the heat pump to the final in-
stallation location. The device can be transported with a lift truck.
ATTENTION!
The device and transport pallet are only joined by the packing film.
ATTENTION!
The device may only be moved when the front panel is closed.
5 Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial start-up
To reach optimal operating results, the device must be set to the
prevailing operating conditions and checked. This should be
done by a factory-authorized customer service.
5.2 Operating instructions
Start-Up
The controllers and sensors already installed in the device as
well as the processor and operating panel are set to the following
standard values: Room temperature 30 °C, room humidity
60 % relative humidity.
30 seconds after the operational voltage has been switched on,
a Reset and Control program is run. The actual values are read
during this process. The device is ready for operation after this
self-test has been completed.
Modes of operation
In OFF mode, the device’s functions are inactive. In AUTO mode,
humidity control is active. AUTO mode can be set via the Exter-
nal Release input (K33*).
Humidity control
To supply voltage to the regulation sensors, a permanently set
time-program starts the ventilator running after 8 minutes of non-
operation. After 1 minute of fan run-time, the measured values
are evaluated.
If the room humidity exceeds the target value set on the display
and the room temperature is at least 15°C, the compressor and
the device fan are switched on.
The output for the extractor fan is activated if the humidity set-
point value exceeds relative humidity by more than 10%.
The speed-controlled extractor fan is available as an option.
ATTENTION!
After shutting down a compressor, it is locked for 5 minutes to keep the
switching frequency low.
5.3 Adjusting the system
Ensure that the room temperature is kept at approx. 2 to 4 K
above the pool water temperature at a relative humiditylevel of
approx. 55 to 65 %. Standard values are: Air +28 to +30 °C, pool
+25 to +28 °C. Reducing the above-mentioned temperature
differencebetween water and air temperature can cause a sub-
stantial increase in the system's runtime and, thus, increased
operating costs.
5.4 Automatic defrosting
This feature is activated, if needed, by the integrated defrosting
sensor. The compressor is then switched off and the device ven-
tilator continues running.
