Fit or remove an automatic beam
•
When the beam has been dislocated after hitting an object in the
ground
•
To change the beam’s release force
•
To remove the last body for lighter pulling
•
In other unforeseen cases
To remove the beams
Park the plow on a firm, level floor
Release the spring tension by undoing bolt A
Undo nuts B
Undo bolt C and pull out the bolt
Pull out the spring bolt F, if necessary
To fit the beam
Fit bolt C
Fit bolt F
Tighten bolt A until the spring length is 70 cm (28 inches). Use the
long spanner. The notches on the spanner indicate 70 cm (28
inches)
Tighten nuts B and C

WARNING
Support the beam
Support the beam securely when removing it, by using appropriate
equipment. If the beams should fall, this can result in damage to
the plow or personal injury.

WARNING
Use a level and horizontal floor
Only remove beams when the plow is parked on a level, horizontal
floor. The beam may otherwise drop down. This may damage the
plow or lead to injury.
