The tractor's top linkage must now be fitted sideways in the tower on
the plow. Read page 21, section on Tower and moving the top
linkage to ensure it is parallel with the edge of the furrow, i.e. via the
tractor's extended centre line correctly behind the tower. (If the
tractor's top linkage is not symmetrical, the side increase can be
adjusted by regulating with the turnbuckle (A) until this is achieved.

If the tractor has resistance regulated hydraulics with the impulse
generator in the top linkage fitting, the hole in the tower must be used
for the plow to have automatic depth control. Most new tractors have
an impulse generator
in the top linkage fitting on the tractor and the hole in the tower can
be used for the plow to have automatic depth control.
If you drive out into the field and start plowing, these adjustments
must be carried out one by one anyway until the plow and tractor
drive as required.
