Getting to know the plow

This chapter provides information on the plow. You can learn about
correct use of the plow and its features as well as technical informa

-

tion.

Proper use

The intended use of this machine is for purposes of plowing. Any other
use of the plow, e.g. as for lifting or pulling operations, is deemed im

-

proper use. The manufacturer and dealer are not liable for damage
caused by improper use.

Features

Auto-reset beam

The AB plow is equipped with Kverneland’s automatic stone release
system. The single leaf spring system cushions the plow body when a
hard object is impacted. Once the plow has passed the obstacle, the
body automatically reverts to the correct plow depth.

Variable working width

The parallel construction on this plow allows you to continuously vary
the working width using the hydraulics. This ensures an optimum com

-

bination of tractor, plow and soil consistency.

Complete range of bodies

A complete range of plow bodies is available for all requirements.
Kverneland plow bodies offer excellent plowing quality, are wear re

-

sistant and have a low draft requirement.

Complete range of optional equipment

Optional equipment on the plow consists of a wide range of depth
wheels, skimming equipment, disc coulters and knives. These will
meet your requirements in terms of soil type and field conditions.

Wear parts

All soil engaging parts have undergone a process of heat treatment.
This makes them extremely wear resistant, yet flexible enough to with
