Adjusting the plow

Set-up
The figures above show a simplified set-up (simple crown) which
requires minimal adjustment. With the plow set for normal plowing,
the crown is driven without any setting other than the variation of
the depth (hydraulic pack and depth wheel).
First pass (A): Only the three plow bodies are plowing. The rear
body plows at approx. 1/2 depth.
Second pass (B): Driven in the opposite direction, with the tractor's
left-hand wheel in the empty furrow. The front plow body is at ap

prox. half depth and the rear is at full depth.
Third pass (C): The tractor's right-hand wheel is driven in the first
furrow from the second pass. The front plow body is at approx. half
depth so that the crown is sufficiently high.
