The v-belt transmission is checked
in the following way:
•
Check that the distance
between the nut and the edge
of the guard is as shown.
• After 10 working hours
Thereafter, every 40 hours of
use
• Remove the guard.
• Loosen the counter nut.
The following must be done if the
distance between the nut and the
edge of the guard is not as
shown:
•
Loosen the counter nut.
• Turn the nut so the distance is
as shown above.
• Fasten counter-nut.
• Remove the old V-belts.
• Fit the new V-belts.
• Tighten the nut until the
distance between the nut and
the edge of the guard is as
shown.
• Fasten counter-nut.
• Fit the guard.
• The V-belts should be
checked after the first 10
working hours.
