PARTS INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lid
The Lid has a safety lock pin. A sound will play when the Lid is being locked or unlocked.
Lock the Lid in place for pressure cooking programs to build pressure. Leave the Lid off
when using Saute. An Error code "Lid" will appear on LCD screen if the Lid is out of
locked position when positioned. While cooking under pressure, you will not be
able to open the Lid until all pressure is released.
2. Steam Release Valve with Handle
The Steam Release Valve is installed on the top of the Steam Release Pipe and used to
manually release pressure instantly. Make sure the Steam Release Handle is in the
"Sealing" position when cooking under pressure. Turn the Steam Release Handle
to the "Venting" position to manually release pressure after pressure cooking.
3. Float Valve
Controls the amount of pressure inside the cooker by allowing excess pressure to be released.
The Float Valve rises as the cooker heats up and pressure builds, then drops as pressure is
released. Do not open the Lid before the Float Valve has completely dropped.
4. Cool-Touch Lid Handles
Allows for easy handling and opening of the Lid.
5. Sealing Ring
Creates an airtight seal for the cooker to build up pressure. Check the Sealing Ring for any
cracks or damage before use.
6. Self-Locking Pin
Lid will lock automatically when it is properly aligned and closed.
7. Anti-Block Shield
Prevents the Steam Release Pipe and Steam Release Valve from being blocked.
(See picture in Page 3)
8. Removable Inner Pot
Ingredients should only be placed in this Pot.
9. Stationary Exterior Pot
This pot cannot be removed from the pressure cooker and ingredients should NEVER be
placed here directly. Before cooking, be sure to first set the Removable Inner Pot inside
the Stationary Exterior Pot. Keep Dry.
10. Condensation Collector
Made of plastic, the Condensation Collector can be removed for drainage and cleaning.
It collects steam that condenses along the rim of the pressure cooker.
11. Control Panel with LCD Display
Allows you to select and adjust different programs. The LCD Display shows cooking
information and settings.
12. Temperature Sensor
Regulates cooking temperature inside the pressure cooker.
13. Heating Element
Heats the Removable Inner Pot when cooking, and regulates the cooking temperature
inside the pressure cooker.
14. Spoon Racks
Used to store the Rice Paddle and Soup Ladle.
