8. Recycling
For loading, start with fibrous products, then minerals
and finally silage.
- Select speed 270 min
-1
for the turbine.
- Set the adjustment system to high position.
- Set the hook in position using the marker (1) on the
support (2) on the gauge.
- Put the lid (1) and cover in recycling position.
- Hold the control lever for several seconds to ensure
complete positioning.
- Engage the tractor's power takeoff and set the engine
to its normal rating.
- Engage the bale separator with the conveyor speed at
0.
- Increase speed gradually to 3 or 4.
- At the end of recycling:
• Stop the conveyor (conveyor at 0) and the bale
separator.
• Set the lid (1) and cover in distribution position.
• Disengage tractor PTO.
The fibrous products (hay, stray) increase the
volume after recycling.
If recycling long, fibrous products (wrapped
grass, hay) with silage: at the start of mixing, set
the system to low position to ensure that the
product is well split up.
Use for recycling the core of a round bale
means first recycling the bale. Leave the
regulators in low position.
The optimal conveyor speed depends on the
available tractor power and the type of
product.
