7.3 Tyres
• Repair work on the tyres and wheels must only be carried out by specialists using the
assembly tools which are suitable for the purpose.
• Support the short-cut loading wagon on firm and level ground. Secure the wagon
against rolling away unintentionally by using wheel chocks.
• Regularly check all wheel nuts to make sure that they are tight and retighten if
necessary.
• When filling the tyres with compressed air, do not stand in front of the tyres. If the
pressure is too high in the tyres, these can burst. Risk of injury.
• Check the air pressure regularly.
When loosening and tightening wheel nuts, follow the
sequence shown in the figure on the right.
Check wheel nuts and retighten if necessary10 operating
hours after installation.
After this, check that the wheel nuts are tight every 50
operating hours.
Check the tyre pressures regularly and top up if
necessary.
The tyre pressure is dependent on the tyre size.
The values are shown in the table.
