5.2 Gearboxes

CAUTION: Oil change every 500 hectares for the
bevel gearbox, swivel gearbox and main gearbox

Main gearbox

Oil level check:

Oil level must reach 10 mm under
the tapped hole (1).

Oil change:

Siphon off the oil through the plug
hole (1) and refill

Oil quality:

SAE 90

Quantity:

approx. 2 litres

Oil level check:

Oil level up to plug hole (1).

Oil change:

Turn and remove check screw (1)
Place a suitable container
underneath
Turn and remove discharge
screw (2)
Empty out old oil
Refill the oil through the plug hole (1)

Oil quality:

SAE 90

Quantity:

approx. 2 x 2 litres

Oil level check:

Dip stick (1)

Oil change:

Pull out dip stick (1)
Turn and remove discharge
screw (2)
Empty out oil into a suitable
container
Refill with oil.

Oil quality:

SAE 90

Quantity:

approx. 1,8 litres

Rest the spirit level (1) on the mower disc hub, facing
in the direction of travel

Crosswise

Adjust the cutter bar using a spirit level (1)
