3 Adjustments on the disc mower
Special safety notes
•
Repair, servicing, maintenance and cleaning work should only be carried out when
the machine is at a standstill. Switch off the engine. Remove the ignition key. Secure
the tractor from rolling away.
•
Reassemble all protective devices correctly after completion of the servicing and
maintenance work
•
Contact a doctor immediately for injuries caused by escaping oil.
•
The cutter blades may continue to move after the drive has been switched off. Only
go near the working tools when they have come to a standstill!
3.1 Adjusting the guards
Side guards (AMT 5000 centre)
The height of the side guards can be adjusted. To do
this, unfasten the screws (1) and (2). Adjust the height
of the carrier bar (3). Tighten the screws.
Front guards
The height adjustment is given by the side guards.
Measurement a = 380 mm
. Depends on the height of
the crop. The given measurement
"a"
on the front
guard (1) gives optimum protection against slippery
conditions. (The guard is parallel to the ground)
Side guards (AMT 4000/5000 outer)
•
Adjustment is carried out from below
•
Unfasten the nuts (1), adjust the guard (3) in the slot
(2) to the height required
•
Tighten the nuts
