Preparing for operation

CAUTION: Stablilise the lower link arms on the
tractor using limiting chains or rods to prevent the
machine shifting sideways.

Danger of crushing hands and feet when
operating the jack stand.

Raise the jack stands (1) and (2) upwards.

Secure the jack stands (3) and (4) using bolts (1) and
spring pins (2).

Jack stand

Attach the PTO shaft (2).

Secure the protective tube from turning with the
shaft using the chain (1).

PTO shaft length adjustment

Hold the PTO shaft halves (1) and (2) in horizontal
position up against one another

Check the top cover of the attachment tubes

Shorten the attachment tubes and protective tubes
so that they move easily in any operating position

Further details are given in the operating
instructions from the PTO shaft manufacturer.

Switch off the engine. Remove the
ignition key. Secure the tractor and
machine from rolling away. Danger of
injury.

Make sure that the PTO shaft protection
engages. Secure the protective tube
from turning with the shaft using a
retaining chain.

Max. PTO shaft speed 1000 rpm.
