Software Version Upgrade On-Board

The 5000’s family allows microcontroller software update programming on board (ISP – In System

Programming).

Today there’s no need to take the microcontroller out from his socket and replace it with a new one.

User only needs to follow this instruction and after few simple steps, his system is upgraded with new

version.

5.1

Programming Utility

The programming utility called Flip is a user-friendly software tool that supports the In-System

Programming (ISP) of Atmel’s Flash C51 Flash

microcontrollers through RS232 communication

interface, in Windows® 9x/Me/2000/XP environments.

How To Connect – CI5000 module – MC1 and MC2 programming

How to program - step by step.

1.

Install the Flip utility.

2.

Turn off the RCI5000 power supply.
