It is convenient to set the machine to manual mode if an external telephone is connected to this machine and
the line is primarily used for telephone communication.

To receive fax data manually by operating the

Control Panel

of this machine, when the external telephone

rings, press [Off-Hook] in the Fax screen, and make sure [Receive] is selected. Press [Start] or press
