Basic scanning

Press [Host].

If the target FTP server has been registered as a shortcut
in advance, select it from the list of shortcuts.

If the target FTP server is registered in the [Faves] tab, you
can select it from the [Faves] tab.

Press [Link].

Enter the link to the FTP server, and press [Enter].

Start the link with two slashes ("//").

For details on entering characters, refer to Chapter 2, "En-
tering Characters" in the User's Guide Administrator Oper-
ations.

Press [UserName].

Enter the user name, and press [Enter].

Up to 64 characters can be entered.

ations.

Press [Password].

Enter the password, and press [Enter].

Up to 28 characters can be entered.
