Important

Although VDSL sonar heads are pre-programmed at the factory with the correct firmware,
you may need to upgrade your firmware if you do not have the latest version for your VDSL
Sonar Head. For the best performance, firmware version 1.5 (or later) is required for
applications using a long cable and VDSL telemetry. Note that you only need to upgrade the
Sonar Head receive firmware file (.RXF) and the Sonar Head software file (.ASW). You do
not need to upgrade the Sonar Head transmit firmware file (.TXF).

You can download these files from our website.
