OPERATION

OPERATION

OPERATION AND CHECK BEFORE STARTING ENGINE

WARNING

A careless touch on the travel control lever may start the machine all of
sudden.
Before leaving the operator's platform, be sure to set the operation mode
selector switch to the "OPERATION" position.

1. Confirm that the operation mode selector switch (1) is at the

"WORK" position.

2. Confirm that all the emergency switches are released. They

are located in the main control box, upper control box and on
the left and right sides of the machine (at 11 points in total).

3. Turn the lamp switch (2) to confirm that the head lamps,

working lamps and panel lamps turn on. If any of them does not
turn on, a blown bulb or disconnected wiring is suspected, so
ask the Komatsu distributor in your territory to repair the failure.
