MAINTENANCE

SERVICE PROCEDURE

CHANGE OIL IN DAMPER CASE

 WARNING

The oil is at high temperature immediately after the machine has been operated. Wait for the oil to cool down before starting the
operation.

NOTICE
For checking the oil level, park the machine on the flat ground, and start checking 30 minutes after the engine has stopped.

 1. Open the cover located on the right side of the machine.
 2. Remove plug (G) and check the oil level. if the oil level is near

the bottom of the plug hole, the oil amount is at a proper level.
If found short, remove plug (F) and replenish oil through plug
(F) filler port up to the bottom of plug (G) hole.

NOTICE
If excess oil is supplied, drain it to the specified amount to avoid
overheating.

 3. Install plugs (G) and (F).
 4. Shut the door.

CHECK ALL TIGHTENING PARTS OF TURBOCHARGER

Contact your Komatsu distributor to have the tightening portions checked.

CHECK PLAY OF TURBOCHARGER ROTOR

Contact your Komatsu distributor to have the tightening portions checked.
