Water Test the System (cont.)
Fill the footbath basin at least 3
″
(7.6 cm) above the top of the suction cover.
Turn on the unit for about five minutes and check all visible connections for leaks. Turn the unit off.
Open the tower and inspect all piping connections for leaks.
Check the connections on the back surface of the face wall and check all wall and floor joints for
leaks.
Close the tower. Securely wrench tighten the two 3/8
″
bolts. Do not overtighten.
CHECK POINT # 11.
Confirm that:
All connections are tight.
The footbath has been filled
with water to 3
″
(7.6 cm)
above the top of the suction
cover.
The unit has been run and the
connections have been
checked for leaks.
The tower has been opened,
checked for leaks, closed and
secured.
21. Clean Up After Installation
Clean the system room with a mild non-abrasive detergent and warm water. Do no use abrasive
cleansers.
Remove stubborn stains and paint from the tower surfaces with turpentine or paint thinner. Remove
dried plaster by carefully scraping with a dull-edged piece of wood. Do not use metal scrapers, wire
brushes or other metal tools.
Remove residual plaster by applying a powder-type detergent to a clean, damp towel to provide
mild abrasive action.
