Setup of the HPLC Pump K–1001

Unpacking

Unpack the instrument and check pump and accessories for any damage due to
shipping. Place any claims referring to damage at the transportation company
responsible for shipping.

Please check that the HPLC Pump K–1001 is complete, use section „Packing
List“. Should, in spite of our thorough control procedures, something be missing,
please contact our service department.

Pump head identification

The pump heads are labeled on the front side indicating the ceramics inlay
version and the maximum flow rate.

The labels of older stainless steel and PEEK versions respectively show the
maximum flow rate only.

These older pump heads can easily be identified by their color:

black:

PEEK-version

metallic:

stainless steel version

Maximum flow rate, 10 or 50 ml/min is indicated on a label on the front of the
pump head.
