9.8 Decommissioning
The detector is designed for the use of different solvents. In case the
detector has not been used for several weeks, solvent residues may cause
damage. We, therefore, recommend to:
Flush the flow cell and the capillaries.
Completely remove used solvents.
Fill the flow cell and the capillaries with isopropanol.
Before storage (see 10 on page 58), close the open connectors of the
flow cell with hole plugs.
The detector has been flushed.

Steps
1.
Unscrew the eluent supply lines and close the open connectors
with hole plugs.
2.
Disconnect the detector from the system and close the open
connec tor of the flow cell with a hole plug.
Select a storage location according to the requirements (see chapter „12.
