4.9 Integrating the detector into the system
To integrate the detector into a system, note the ambient conditions
found in the chapter „12. Technical data“ on page 60, as well as the am-
bient conditions of other devices to be integrated into that system.
The detector is integrated into the HPLC flow system by connecting the
capillary to the flow cell and the HPLC system.
Stainless steel fittings are tightened with 5 Nm, PEEK fittings are tight-
ened with 0.5 Nm.

Note:
PEEK capillaries are not suitable for use with pure acetonitrile. Ace-
tonitrile can cause capillaries to crack or rupture.
