OVEN SHUTDOWN THERMAL FUSE
TEST PROCEDURE
Refer to page 2-22 for the procedure for ser-
vicing the oven shutdown thermal fuse.
1.
Disconnect power from the range.
2.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
3.
Disconnect the wires from the oven shut-
down thermal fuse terminals.
4.
Touch the ohmmeter test leads to the
oven shutdown thermal fuse terminals.
The ohmmeter should indicate a closed
circuit (0
Ω
).
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect the electrical supply from the
unit before servicing.
Failure to do so could result in death or
electrical shock.
WARNING
Resistance Test (At The Electronic
Range Control)

at the electronic range control, perform the fol-
lowing steps (see page 2-4 for removing the
top access panel).
1.
Disconnect power from the range.
2.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.
3.
Disconnect the red wire that is on the
output of the double line break relay, (refer
to the schematic), and the red wire (L2) on
