GROOVE  ON  DRIVE  COLLAR  FIRMLY.  Remove  grub  screw  of 
driving collar which is engaged on Shaft / Shaft sleeve.

Remove Impeller from rotating unit. 

d)

 

Remove hex. nuts from casing cover (22000) studs holding the 
cover of mechanical seal.  

e)

 

Then remove casing cover (22000) from rotating unit. 

 

Removal of mechanical seal 

f)

 

Remove Cartridge seal assembly from shaft. 

g)

 

Loosen  grub  screw  holding  the  liquid  deflector  (23600).  Take 
out liquid deflector. 

h)

Remove impeller key (32000). 

5.2.1.1.20

 

Take  out  ‘O’  ring  (if  applicable)  for  bearing  housing  (52501) 
carefully. 

5.2.1.1.21

 

Remove pump half coupling (39700) after unscrewing grub screw. 

   

Coupling  half  should  be  removed  with  the  help  of 

suitable extraction device or by localized heating. To avoid damage 
to the bearings, coupling half should not be knocked out of shaft.
