6 .3 .3 Refilling /Changing the Cooling Fluid / D-Aerating the System (DCP 30 SX)
• Remove the left side cover in front of the projector (Allen key 4 mm).

Z
DCP 30 SX is equipped with an internal water cooling system. DCP 30 LX is
equipped with an external water cooling system, therefore see KWK-DCP operating
manual.

The level of the coolant should always be in the mid area of the mid inspection win-
dow (black arrow).
Z
The coolant should be changed once in a year.
Z
Use only the original coolant from Kinoton.
6 .3 .3 .1 Draining the Coolant
• Remove the tank cap (withe arrow).
• Remove the cap on the draining
hose (orange arrow).
• Take the draining hose (black arrow)
out of the clip and hang it downwards
in a pot (2.5 l) to let the coolant run
out.
• Insert some fresh coolant via the
filler neck in the tank to rinse it.
ATTENTION
Never use water to rinse the tank, use
the original coolant from Kinoton.
6 .3 .3 .2 Filling Coolant
• Put the cap on the draining hose again and put it with cap upwards in the clips again.
• Fill in coolant until it is levelled in the area of the mid inspection window.
• Put the cap on the tank.
