Inverter

Your Karavan is fitted with an Inverter. This unit converts DC battery power to

mains AC electricity. This allows you to use AC power devices provided their

wattage draw is suitable. It is mounted in the lowest cabinet underneath the

cooktop bench.

How to use the Inverter

Before connecting your load, please ensure that it is properly rated for

the inverter. Your load should be rated at 110V 60Hz up to a max. power

consumption of 3000W

1. Switch ON the Inverter using the switch located in the kitchen dash.

2. Plug your appliance directly into one of the AC outlets and switch outlet

power ON.

IMPORTANT: LOW/HIGH Battery Voltage Protection

In the event of battery voltage going outside of the normal operating voltage

range of the inverters an audible alarm will sound or fault code will be displayed

and the unit will shut down. This protects internal circuitry of the inverter and the

battery from excessive discharge. Once battery voltage returns to the inverter’s

normal voltage operating range it can be restarted. (Unit can be switched off to

silence alarm).
