Controlling power windows
switch
僅 Type A: 1
僅 Type B: 1, 2 (if equipped)
Operation
僅 Press or pull the switch to the first/
second detent position (1, 2).
INFORMATION
Only type B can use auto up/down func -
tion.
Operating condition(s)
僅 The vehicle is in the ON position.
WARNING
Do not install any accessories in the area
of windows. It may impact jam protec

tion.
NOTICE
僅 While driving with the rear windows
down in an open (or partially open
position), your vehicle may demon

strate a wind buffeting or pulsation
noise. This noise is a normal occur
-
rence and can be reduced or elimi
-
nated by taking the following actions.
If the noise occurs with one or both of
the rear windows down, partially
lower both front windows approxi
-
mately 2.5 cm (1 inch). If you experi
-
ence the noise with the sunroof open,
slightly reduce the size of the sunroof
opening.
僅 In cold and wet climates, power win -
dows may not work properly due to
freezing conditions.
Resetting power windows
Operation
1. Close the window.
2. Pull the power window switch.

1. Windows will stop and move down.
僅 Approximately 30 cm (12 inches)
2. Windows will move down.

WARNING
僅 Always check for obstructions before
raising any window to avoid injuries or
vehicle damage. If an object less than
4 mm (0.16 inch) in diameter is caught
between the window glass and the
upper window channel, the automatic
reverse window may not detect the
resistance and will not stop and
reverse direction.
