Tailgate

CAUTION

The door open and close history is ini

tialized when the driver turns off the 
engine and locks the vehicle door. Even 
though the rear door is not opened 
again, an alert may occur if the previous 
history is not initialized. For example, if 
driver does not lock the vehicle door and 
opens the door to get off after the alert 
sounds, the alert may go off.

1. Press the outside handle switch to 

open the tailgate.

2. Pull up the tailgate.
3. Push down the tailgate to close it. 

Make sure that the tailgate is securely 
latched.
