Universal Overhead Storage
Assembly Instructions
Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after
assembly. Failure to assemble properly, or to secure parts
may result in assembly failure and personal injury.
3. Place the fully assembled
Universal overhead cabinet
upside down onto a soft,
protective surface (Figure 2).
4. Position upmount brackets onto
bottom of overhead so that the
“point” of the v-notch aligns with
the back of the overhead such
that

” overhangs the back of
the cabinet, and the rectangular
slot aligns with the side of the
overhead. Align the adjacent face
of the bracket with the end of the
overhead such that

” of bracket
overhangs the side of the cabinet
(Figure 2 & Detail E).
5. Using the correctly positioned
upmount bracket as a template,
mark the four mounting locations
to the underside of the cabinet.
Remove the bracket and drill
four

” diameter pilot holes
into bottom ridge of the cabinet.
Repeat the process for bracket at
other side of cabinet (Detail F).
6. Align the correct upmount bracket
with the pre-drilled holes of the
cabinet and secure using four
10 x
1
/
2
” self-tapping screws.
Repeat the process to secure the
second bracket to other side of
the cabinet (Figure 3).
