NVR User’s Manual
• NTP
: Stands for Network Time Protocol. Allows your NVR to synchronize the date and time parameters with a
remote time server over Internet. Click
Setup
to access the NTP settings.
NOTE:
If you want to use the NTP function then make sure the time zone is set correctly according to your
location.
Click
Update Now
to automatically synchronize the time set on NVR with a remote time server on Internet.
When you have finished with the settings, click
Apply
.
• Language
: The language of the menus, alerts and other communications on NVR.
•
Menu Timeouts
: Define the time the NVR will exit the menus when they are not in use and return to the Live
Viewing screen.
• Flicker
: 50 Hz or 60 Hz, depending on your geographical location. For example, in Taiwan the flicker should be set
to 60 Hz, if set to 50 Hz, then the live video from the camera will be flickering.
