S13 Test
Th
is test will verify the RF path highlighted in
. The Port 3 source power travels
through an amplifier, through the coupled path, is reflected off a Short/Open termination, and
is then coupled to RCVR A IN.
1.
Connect a Short/Open to U3050BH11 bulkhead Port
1.
2.
Set source power to -15 dBm
.
3.
Turn on trace S13
.
4.
Verify that the S13 trace has approximately 10 dB of gain at the low end and 10 dB of
loss at the high end as seen in
. (Note: The power at the receiver includes
the insertion loss of cabling and 10 dB of coupling factor loss)
.
