This hardkey provides mainly two types of functions:

Clear

• Clears any numeric entry and cancels the active function.
• Clears any title entry and cause the title to revert to the previous

name.

• Clears input or output overloads
• Clears error messages from the status line along the bottom of

the display.

Association with other functions

Provides a permitted setting for triggering other functions such as:
• Activates

LIMIT

function for pass/fail judgement.

• Activates

SAVE

function for current trace saving.

CAUTION

When pressing

[ESC<-]

, the current parameter annotation in the lower left

corner, which is an indicator of available settings of

Limit

and

Save,

disappears.
