B 1.3 Setting up KaVo Multibox and
laying KaVo system cable
Position the Multibox in a suitable position
in the practice (close to your PC, also see
B 6), possibly under a DOMINO element.
The cable length from the Multibox to the
plug connection in the unit base is five or
twelve metres, depending on the order.
■
To avoid obstacles which may cause
people to trip, it is essential to lay the KaVo
system cable in a floor duct.
■
The diameter of the floor duct used and
of any passages required must be at least
22 mm, but preferably 40 mm.
To lead the system cable through an
opening of 22 mm, it must be
disconnected from the Multibox (time-
consuming work!) and fed through with this
end of the cable at the front.

Posizionare il Multibox in un punto idoneo
dello studio (vicino al PC, cfr anche B 6),
eventualmente sotto un elemento
DOMINO. Per l’allacciamento alla base del
riunito, la lunghezza del cavo del multibox
può essere di 5 o di 12 metri in base
all’ordine.
■
Per evitare di inciampare, è
assolutamente necessario sistemare il cavo
del sistema in un condotto a pavimento.
■
Il diametro del condotto a pavimento
utilizzato e degli eventuali passanti deve
essere non
meno di 22 mm., meglio se di
44 mm.
Per poter introdurre il cavo in
un’imboccatura di 22 mm., bisogna
disinserire il cavo dal multibox (perdita di
tempo!) e fare entrare nell’imboccatura
questa estremità.

et pose du câblage système KaVo
Placer le multibox dans un endroit
approprié du cabinet (à proximité de votre
PC, cf. aussi B 6), le cas échéant sous un
élément DOMINO. La longueur du câble
reliant le boîtier au connecteur dans la base
de l’appareil est de cinq ou de douze
mètres, selon la commande.
■
Il est indispensable de poser le câblage
système KaVo dans un conduit dans le
plancher, afin d’éviter de trébucher.
■
Le diamètre du conduit dans le plancher
utilisé et des traversées éventuelles doit être
d‘au
moins 22 mm, 40 mm au mieux.
Afin de faire passer le câblage
système par une ouverture de 22 mm,
il doit être débranché du Multibox (cela
prend du temps!) et passer dans le plancher
avec l‘extrêmité côté Multibox en avant.
