Local time offset (UTC)
Use the buttons to set the time
zone variation from UTC (formerly GMT)
(e.g. for G1 hour).
Use the buttons to switch to the
“Automatic clock change” fi eld. Use the
buttons to select whether the
receiver should automatically change
over between summer and winter
time. If “On” is selected, the receiver
automatically sets itself to the right time.
If you select the setting “Off”, you must
make the change to and from summer
time yourself, using the “Summertime”
Press the button twice to save the new channel. You will then move on to the next step of the fi rst
installation; the following is displayed:
FIRST INSTALLATION: CHANNEL SEARCH
fi eld displayed below. Press the buttons to make the setting.
update time on
Set the required type of time update using the buttons. The following options are available:
- “Actual channel (Das Erste)” (the time information is taken from the channel “Das Erste” - you can
change this setting later on the “Date and Time” menu) or
- “all channels” (the time information is always taken from the channel currently selected)
The time will be updated in future based on the variant you have set.
Press the

(green) button to terminate the fi rst installation.
