FIRST INSTALLATION: General
Before using your receiver for the fi rst time, read the “Safety Instructions” and
“Connection and Setup” sections.
The “Connection examples” section provides a sample con fi guration.
Do not connect the receiver to the power supply until all installation work has been
properly carried out.
The guidance given in the “First Installation” section assumes that the receiver
has been properly connected as per the “Safety Instructions” and “Connection
and Setup” sections.
First switch on your TV set and select the AV channel slot. Switch on your receiver at the power switch at
the front of the unit. The following on-screen display appears:
Select the menu language you want using the

buttons. Available options: German, English,
French, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Dutch and Turkish.
Press the

(green) button to move to the next menu.
Also note the bars at the bottom
of the on-screen display! These
provide information on what to
do next.
Note:
If you are unsure whether you chose the right option from a previous menu, you can go
back a step at any time during the fi rst installation process by pressing the

(red) button.
