safety and operating instructions.
Important:
People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,
due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,
must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or
appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a
competent qualified electrician(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by
a competent qualified electrician(*) in order to avoid all danger.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power
supply.
When the appliance is operating, the moving parts are dangerous. To avoid abrasion or
other injuries, respect these warnings:
-
Handle the refrigeration bowl only with gloves or other protection to avoid cold
“burns” when frozen.
-
Only use the components supplied.
-
Do not touch the accessory fitted to the appliance when this is operating.
-
Do not stop the blades or moving parts from rotating; leave them submerged in the
container until they stop naturally from inertia.
Check that the motor body does not come into contact with water or other liquids; should
it get wet or happen to fall into a liquid, immediately take the plug out of the power
supply socket, dry it carefully and check that liquid has not entered the motor body; if in
doubt, contact professionally qualified personnel.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute
a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Stand the appliance on a table or flat
surface. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around
the appliance and do not bend it.
Keep your hands, hair and any accessories away from the bowl when the appliance is
operating, to prevent them from contacting and getting caught up with rotating parts.
Do not place the ice cream maker in the refrigerator or freezer: only the refrigerant
container is suitable for this purpose.
Do not grip the refrigerant container with bare hands. Protect your hands by using a
plastic bag or gloves: contact with the skin can cause partial “burns”.
Never try to open the refrigerant container: if any liquid leaks out, contact professionally
qualified personnel.
In case of machine’s liquid loss: do not use the device and do not eat the ice-cream if
contaminated.
